Frequently Asked Questions

How long until I get my results?

Our results will normally take around 5 days to complete, though in particularly busy times gathering your results can take up to 10 days.

Who does the eye tracking studies?

We have a database of paid participants who perform these studies. Click here if you would like to become a participant.

Can I specify demographics or other criteria for my study participants?

Not yet, but we are working on demographic selection. If you would like to see this feature please let us know.

Can I use my own users for my study?

Yes, we can setup studies using your own users. Please contact us for assistance setting this up.

Do I get anything besides a heatmap?

Definitely! You currently get several heatmaps, feedback from the study participants, personalized recommendations based on your study, and a "replay" feature to watch the order in which your study’s users looked around. We are constantly evaluating new visualizations to add without making the results too confusing. If you have a particular visualization you’d like to see, let us know.

What if I’m not satisfied with my results?

Please get in touch and we’ll do everything in our power to resolve your issues and turn you into a happy customer. If we are unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction we will issue a refund.

Can I get my raw eye point data?

Absolutely! Please contact us with which study you’d like the raw data for and we’ll get it to you ASAP.

What are the minimum requirements to use GazeHawk?

To order a GazeHawk study and view the results, all you need is a web browser. Our reporting system will work in all modern browsers. Some of our advanced reporting features do not work on Internet Explorer, but we can export these visualizations to a video upon request.

To become a GazeHawk tester you need a webcam, Adobe Flash 9+, and a modern web browser (tracking works on IE 7+, Firefox, and Chrome). Testing may not work on some versions of Linux that have known issues with Flash webcam access.
